Banking and Finance Framework (BFF)
The first framework produced by CPRAS and managed by TPA is the Banking and Finance Framework (BFF), and this page shows the detail the Lots go into for this particular framework. For a bespoke Framework, the same level of detail and due diligence will apply.
If you are interested in any of these services and ready to save cost, time and risk for your own organisation, or have other requirements, financial or otherwise, that could be built into a framework, please fill out the form below, or contact us to get the ball rolling
LOT 1: Banking Services
Core banking services, which include: current accounts, BACS payments, direct debit processing, online banking, CHAPS payments, bulk withdrawals, and other banking services.
LOT 2: Merchant Accounts
A merchant account service to process card payments, including the provision of card processing terminals; and a service which allows the supplier to accept credit and debit card payments as well as alternative payments. The service facilitates the secure passing of funds from a client's account to the supplier's account. The requirement for the provision of card processing equipment includes all physical terminals which accept the transaction data, and transmit it to the merchant.
LOT 3: Payment Gateway Service
A payment gateway service to authorise credit card payments for e-commerce and MOTO transactions. The payment gateway facilitates the transfer of transaction data between a payment portal (such as a website, mobile phone, or interactive voice response service) and the acquiring bank.
LOT 4: Direct Debit
A Direct Debit (DD) Bureau service where the service user (such as Council) has obtained their own service user number (SUN), but wishes to outsource collection management. The provision of direct debit services includes the fulfillment of all BACS related submissions and correspondence to payers, on behalf of the service user. The provision of services for this Lot is intended to reduce the user's responsibilities under BACS regulations as much as possible, ensuring a secure processing environment which needs only minimal management to obtain and maintain BACS compliance.
LOT 5: Call Masking and IVR Service
A stand-alone service to remove card data form the telephone payment system in order to improve efficiency, security, and PCI DSS compliance. The LOT includes hosted platforms so customer service agents can take payments over the phone without being exposed to the liability of hearing or seeing cardholder data. Also included is the provision of an automated solution for un-manned payment phone lines.
LOT 6: Open Banking Services
Open banking services to enable faster and cheaper inbound payment processing as well as identity management services..
